He was a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, and friend. Oliver is survived by his precious daughter, Lola Marie, the love of this life, and her mother Montana Marie Anderson. In addition, he leaves behind his mother, Cynthia Crackel, and her husband, Mark; his father, William Kirtland, and his wife, Debbie (Oliver's bonus mom); his sisters, Kennedy Kirtland and Adrienne Malone and her husband, David; and nephews, Grayson and Dawson Malone; his aunts and uncles, Kathline Collins, Joseph and Sandra Shaw, and Valerie and Ron Beaudin, and his Grammy, Rita Hess, and many loving cousins. Oliver is pre-deceased by his sister, Landis Kirtland, who adored her "orbandorfer". Oliver was a graduate of Kennesaw State University where he earned his degree in electrical engineering. He was employed by Textron GSE, where his colleagues were also his friends. Oliver mastered the craft of woodworking through the guidance of his dad. He was a gun collector, motorcycle enthusiast, mega-gamer, beer drinker, wine sipper, good ol' country boy who loved anything outdoors. Oliver loved going down the Etowah River with friends, and Talking Rock Creek with his dad, as well as being on the lake knee-boarding and riding Waverunners with his mom and friends on the Tennessee River. Oliver loved deeply and would fiercely protect his girls at all cost. Oliver had a multitude of friends in Tennessee and Georgia. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia. Following the visitation, the family invites everyone to join them for tacos and drinks at Pueblo Cantina in Jasper, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family has opened an educational account at Regions of Georgia for his precious daughter, Lola Marie.
