He was born June 26, 1947 to Clarence and Effie Lene Stallings in Roanoke, Alabama. He worked for Delta Airlines for 35 years - from 1966 until 2001. He then worked for UPS for 5 years. Troy is survived by his wife, Pixie Stallings of Talking Rock; sons, Chad Strovinskas of Marietta, Clay Strovinskas of Marietta; daughter, Lori Dailey; brother, Jack Stallings; sister, Willen Elliot. Many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Troy Stallings. Services will be held 1:30 p.m., October 2, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Hall officiating. After the service, follow the procession to his home for a Celebration of Life. Troy Stallings generously donated his body to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to be used for medical training, research, and education. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
