She was born November 4, 1931 to William Edward and Emma Clark in Pickens County. Jean is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Diane Jones of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Barbara Jones of Jasper; grandchildren, Mickey and Kim Jones, Anita and Kevin Medlin, Nathan Jones, Brian and Lindsay Jones, Angela and Jay Bird; great-grandchildren, Ethan Jones, Evan Jones, Ariel Hayes, Ansley Hayes, Laney Jones, Gracie Jones, Hayden Jones, Harper Jones, Christian Hosbach, Reagan Hosbach; sister, Mildred Hart; special nieces and nephews, Rita Poole, Kathy Cagle, Tommy Massey, Jim Jones, Mary Bryant; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C. Jones; sons, David Jones and Alan Jones; and step-grandson, Allen Cantrell. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Grant Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the Jasper City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mickey Jones, Nathan Jones, Brian Jones, Ethan Jones, Evan Jones, and Hayden Jones. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
